Our Resaw

Our Resaw
The resaw is one of our newer pieces of equipment used in the manufacture of timbers, and was put into use approximately 1898. It to was originally steam operated and was converted to electricity in 1901. The primary function of the Resaw is to rip large timbers into a desired thickness. The timber may then be sent to the planer for surfacing.
